The Stein's: 2010

Addison is no longer our little baby (sniff, sniff). She hates to be held like one, unless she's taking her bottle. She mastered sitting up and is moving all around - but not crawling yet. She can push herself backward and around in a circle. She even gets on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth like she's going to take off any minute. If she figures it out before the Christmas tree is down, we have some major baby-proofing to do.

Addison loves to play patty cake and peek-a-boo. She'll take her burp rag and put it up and over her head, but most of the time you can still see her face. She'll do that a million times in a day. We still enjoy our little conversations with her, they get more and more animated each time. She lights up when we come into a room and gets excited to see us. There's nothing like that feeling, I must say. But now she also cries when we leave a room. She loves to give kisses - open mouth ones of course. My face is completely covered in slobber when she's done. Doug's disappointed he never gets kisses. I told him it's the facial hair, shave it!

We're so excited for the holidays and starting our own family traditions. I find everything to be so much more enjoyable. I'm also loving that Doug is so involved as well - usually I would get the "No, do it without me" response, but with Addison he enjoys being apart of it all. He's a great Dad, like I knew he would be!
