Addison is eating table food a lot better now. Although when I do find something she likes, she will very well shun it away the very next day. She's a tough one to figure out, but she definitely likes her Cherrios and Puffs!!
Addison definitely keeps us entertained, she starting to do a few new things that just make us laugh. She drums her fingers over her lips to make that "bub, bub" noise all the time. The other day she started making fish faces, I kept seeing her trying to suck in her cheeks and she eventually made a fish face. I just wonder where she gets these things!
She is always playing with her rocking chair. She loves to sit on it, get off, push it around the living room to the perfect spot and then sit again. She even tries to stand up on it, so we have to watch her close! Addison's favorite past time is being outside, we say she takes after Grandma Cheryl in that respect. She enjoys her swing, wagon rides, going for a walk/run in a stroller - anything! When we bring her in, she starts to fuss when we head toward the door. I am glad that she enjoys it so much because we are outside a lot.
She's into everything, all the cabinets and drawers. Just last night she was stretching to reach the door handle and she would have got it had Doug not opened it from the other side. Now we have to baby-proof the door handles, I'm sure Doug's going to LOVE that ;-)
Addison is walking more and more everyday. Even in the past few days her walking has increased ten-fold. Everytime I look up she's walking somewhere, rarely crawling. She gets to a standing position by pulling herself up on anything nearby and then walks all over the house. I did catch her a time or two standing up on her own completely. It truely is amazing how quickly they advance.
We can't believe one year has passed by already. Addison has brought so much joy to our lives and we feel so blessed. Doug and I just sit back and watch her in amazement. She's definitely the apple of our eyes! Here are some pics from the past month.
